Contrary to popular belief, even models have insecurities and imperfections such as cellulite, stretch marks, and acne. Our boudoir and glamour photography sessions are designed to empower women and help them feel confident in their own skin. By indulging in a bit of pampering, such as new lingerie or beauty treatments, before the session, clients can fully embrace their beauty and let go of any insecurities they may have. Ultimately, it's not about achieving perfection, but rather celebrating the beauty of being imperfect.

I don't know how to pose. Will you guide me during a session?

Absolutely! You have nothing to worry about. Our photographer, Astrid, has over 10 years of experience in posing women and is the creator of the Boudoir Flow posing system. You can trust that you will always be posed in the most flattering way and under the most flattering lighting. During your session, you will receive clear, simple and short instructions on how to pose, such as "bring your chin forward," "look up at me with your eyes," "put your left hand on your left thigh," etc. Astrid will also demonstrate each pose for you and, with your permission, will assist in adjusting your hands, fixing your hair, etc. to ensure that you are comfortable and confident in each pose. We want to make sure that you feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the session, and that you end up with beautiful and flattering images that truly capture your unique beauty.

Question 3

I'm a plus size woman—should I loose some weight before my shoot?

No, you are beautiful just as you are. Our photographer, Astrid, has extensive experience working with women of all shapes and sizes, including those who are curvy or plus-size. We want to assure you that your size does not matter when it comes to posing, lighting, and capturing your unique beauty. Our unique posing system allows Astrid to accentuate your curves and best features, or to minimize any features that you might not love. Posing is an art, and our clients benefit from our years of experience working with bodies of all shapes and sizes. At our studio, we believe that boudoir photography is for every woman, and our goal is to showcase your true beauty. So, don't wait any longer, you are perfect as you are and ready to take a beautiful look at yourself.

What should I wear on my boudoir photo session?

Accepted Answer

When you book your boudoir experience with Liberation Boudoir, you'll receive a complimentary wardrobe consultation and guidance to ensure that you look and feel your best during your session. Our team will provide you with ideas on where to shop, what to look for, and how to dress for your body type. You'll also have access to our Closet, a collection of clothing and accessories that have been selected specifically for boudoir photography. Some clients even send us images of outfits they're considering while shopping, to get our input on whether it will photograph well. Creating a Pinterest board with outfit ideas you love is also a great idea, as we can then guide you towards the best choices. Your Boudoir Experience includes 5 complimentary outfit changes, but you are more than welcome to bring additional options. Don't worry, by the time your session arrives, you'll be super prepared and confident in your wardrobe choices. We understand how important it is to feel comfortable and confident in your clothing, and we're here to help you achieve that.

Question 5

Will my photos be on your website? Can my photos be private?

Accepted Answer

At our studio, we understand the importance of privacy and take it very seriously. We would love to share the beautiful photographs we capture of our clients with other women, but only with your explicit permission. Before any images are shared, we require a signed Privacy Policy agreement and a Model Release form. We respect your level of privacy and are happy to honor your preferences. Some clients are eager to share their images and give us full discretion to choose which ones to post, while others prefer to select the images themselves. Some clients prefer that only faceless images be used in our portfolio and others are comfortable with anything being posted, as long as it is done after a specific date (such as after they have gifted the images to someone else). We will always work with you to ensure that your privacy is respected and that you are comfortable with the level of exposure your images receive.

Where will my Boudoir session take place?

At our studio, clients can expect to be pampered in a luxurious and elegant loft-style space with breathtaking views of Miami. The studio is located in the trendy Art and Entertainment District, and is specifically designed for boudoir and portrait photography. For those seeking a unique location, we also offer the option of on-location shoots, for an additional fee. Our studio boasts multiple sets with a variety of lighting, backdrops, and props to choose from, ensuring that each client's vision is brought to life. Our team of experienced hair and makeup artists are on-site to ensure that clients look and feel their best. Additionally, we are happy to accommodate clients from all over Florida and South Florida, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to capture their beauty in our studio.
